今日は激戦地ハルキウから日本に避難したウクライナ難民の方おふたりの病院同行を行いました。弊団体顧問のドクターの助言に沿い、しばらく言葉の問題も含め、サポートすることになりそうです。しかし日本政府はほとんどの方に健康保険証を支給しており、他国に避難したウクライナの方より手厚いと思います。
ただハルキウは今でも毎日ロシアのミサイル攻撃を受けており、ご両親の安否を思い巡らせている状況にこころを痛めているとのことでした。早期の戦争終結を願わざるを得ません。
Accompanying hospital support
Today we accompanied two Ukrainian refugees to the hospital who took refuge in Japan from the fierce war zone of Halkiou. In line with the advice of our organisation's advisor, a doctor, we will be supporting them for some time, including with language problems. However, the Japanese Government provides most of them with health insurance cards, which I think is more generous than for Ukrainian refugees who have fled to other countries. However, Halkiou is still under daily Russian missile attacks and they are heartbroken at the situation, wondering about the safety of their parents. I can't help but wish for an early end to the war.
